Welcome to the Strathtay Golf Club Website.

The club has played over Strathtay Golf Course since 1909 and the Victorian conservation village probably hasn’t changed that much in appearance over the years. This is a truly wonderful area to visit, especially for families, and within the village you will find a post office /  general store, two restaurants two bars and an award winning chocolatier! There are a number of other small businesses and the white water rafting and slalom canoe course are big attractions within the village.

Over the season we see visitors from all over the world and we have a significant group of members from Switzerland, Germany and Austria who find the annual membership very good value, currently £190 for full members with a £40 joining fee and £140 for a senior member with a £40 joining fee.  for 2017 – you can play for a whole year and your handicap certificate will be very useful for playing at other overseas clubs.

The course is usually very quiet and parents find it an ideal place to introduce beginners and children to our wonderful game.  There is no need to book a tee time – just turn up with your friends and family and play as long as you like!

We loved this course and we come here for the 8th year. The challenging holes – we loved them. Excellent greenkeeper!! Always good weather!

Hidden gem of a course.  Can’t  wait for next year!  P.S. My 3 year old son’s first game of golf too!

A great fun course!  Made more enjoyable by the phenomenal condition.   The green keeping staff should be proud!

What a marvelous experience.  Course in excellent condition, what a lot of work.  Thank you.

One of the best golf courses ANYWHERE. Alistair, the green keeper keeps it in excellent order.
If your golf is less than perfect, use the opportunity for exercise and observation of the countryside. The scenery is unequalled, and the wildlife abundant.
To score well one has to hit Perfect shots. 98% will not do and will not be rewarded.
Some people scorn this course, but they do not appreciate the nature of golf. They play at golf but are not golfers.

What an excellent day on this fab course.

Nine holes followed by coffee at the Inn, then another 9 holes.  What a way to spend a few hours.  The course is a credit to you.

Played a number of times over the years.  Loved the 9 hole course, but the 18 has turned it into a brilliant course.  Extremely well maintained and lovely condition.  Credit to the green keeper who is helpful and friendly.  Look forward to returning.
